This Privacy Policy explains how Nakmuay Trivia Challenge International AB ("NTC", "we", "us") handles personal data in connection with our pre-launch waitlist. It is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What we collect

When you join the Founders' Edition waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address (required)
  • Country (required)
  • Marketing consent (required)

When you browse the site, with your consent, we may also collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Device, browser, and operating system information
  • Pages visited, scroll depth, click events
  • Anonymous session identifiers

3. Why we collect it

Email, country, consent — to email you about NTC: launch updates, the Founders' Edition, and your eventual order. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Analytics and behavioral data — to understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

You can withdraw consent at any time. For analytics, click "Cookie settings" in the footer. For email, click "unsubscribe" in any email we send.

4. Who has access

We use the following processors. Each acts on our instructions and is bound by GDPR-compliant agreements where applicable:

  • Shopify Inc. — site hosting, customer database, email sending. Servers in the US and EU.
  • Google LLC — Google Analytics 4. Servers in the US.
  • Meta Platforms — Meta Pixel. Servers in the US.
  • TikTok — TikTok Pixel. Servers in the US.
  • PostHog — product analytics, session replay. Servers in the EU.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for advertising purposes by other companies.

5. International transfers

Some processors are based in the US. Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Retention

  • Email and waitlist data — until you unsubscribe, or 24 months after the last interaction, whichever comes first.
  • Analytics data — see the Cookie Policy for per-cookie retention.
  • Server logs — up to 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
